Materials

Our Visor Hats are made from a stays-cool EVA material - the same lightweight, non-toxic material used in yoga mats and sneakers. It's soft, UV-resistant and feels very similar to memory foam. The decorative bands are made from durable natural fibers like hemp and bamboo.

Size & Fit

"Tall" visors are 3 inches high and hide most of the hair. Normal visors are 2.5 inches high.

Brim length measures 4 inches for Lotus style and 3.5 inches for LadyEVA style.

Fits heads with circumference: 21 inches to 25 inches

Care Instructions

Handwash hat easily with mild soap and water. Can also be spot cleaned with alcohol wipes or Windex with Vinegar.

Rinse off sunscreen and chlorine as soon as possible.

What is your return policy?

Money Back Guarantee: We believe you'll love how these hats feel, but if after wearing it, you find the hat is uncomfortable for any reason, we will gladly accept returned hats that are gently used and otherwise undamaged and provide a full refund less only $8 return shipping.

Note: hats that show evidence of being crushed or bent, or hats that are returned misshapen, are ineligible for refund. 

We have a 45-day return policy, which means you have 45 days after receiving your item to request a return.

What are the hats made of?

These hats are made from two kinds of Coated EVA. A softer material is used around the head and a more structured material is used for the brim. Coated EVA is commonly found in sneakers, yoga mats, and knee/helmet pads. It feels very similar to a soft, cushiony memory foam and is very comfortable

Is it packable? Can I roll it up?

While the hat can NOT be rolled up, the material is very soft and flexible. We recommend packing around the hat. If the hat does get crushed during travel, it will crease initially but the creasing will mostly fade as to be invisible and the hat will return to shape.

How do you clean it?

Cleaning is easy with mild soap and water... wipe dry to avoid water spots. Alternatively, you can use Windex with Vinegar or alcohol wipes to spot clean. We recommend removing chlorine and sunscreen stains as soon as possible.

How long will the sweatband last? Can I get it wet?

One premium "NoSweat Co" band is inserted in every hat to absorb perspiration. These last for months and even years of daily use and can be reordered on Amazon or on the company's website when needed. If the band gets wet in the pool, it will simply dry and be usable again. Use Goo Gone to remove any adhesive that sticks to the hat when changing the band.

I have a small head. Will it fit me?

All hats have an elasticated ribbon closure that allows the hat to stretch to fit. For small heads simply overlap the holes in the back and tie the rope through them. This is for heads measuring 21 inches.

Why don't the hats have a top?

Our customers love the open top for the following reasons: more adjustable fit, more airflow, doesn't flatten their hair (i.e. no "hat hair"), and they can put their hair up in a pony tail.

How should I store the hat?

We recommend hanging the hat to protect the shape and prevent crushing.

Will it give me a headache?

Most likely not as this may be the lightest hat on the market at only 1.2 ounces and that combined with the cushiony, adjustable fit and heat resistance means headache-free comfort for hours and hours.

Will the color fade?

No, both the EVA and the flexible coating are UV resistant to fading and deterioration.

Which visor height is more popular?

For more of a "hat look" that hides the top of your hair, we suggest the Tall 3 inch height. Otherwise, the lower 2.5 inch visor is very popular.

Is the Decorative Band painted?

The bands are made of thin but durable decorative fibers like hemp and bamboo. We attached the fibers to the hat with a sealing material and then use acrylic paint to create an elegant border.
